A Little Information.
I am most comfortable when I have a guitar in my hands.
This is no kidding. After all these years practicing, playing, collecting and learning from others the guitar has become a major part of my mental make-up.
If Scott 's kids are looking at this please contact your Dad
Scott 's X wife has kept his kids from him for over a year.
I think anyone would understand. "I have tried ever way
possible to contact and the courts just make it impossible
even when you are supposed to be able to see them.
But I digress."
Again Thank God for guitar.
It has been a good therapist in tough times.
Welcome!
I hope you enjoy this.
To understand my passion this should be of help.

I hope you enjoy my musical biography.
It is very simple what I wrote. If you
have any questions. Please E-mail me. I
always return E-mails. If you took the time
to write and send an E-mail-- Then I have
the time to return an E-mail. It is the least
that I could do. Read my bio and I hope you enjoy it.

I Love Living In The Future!
Something New!
I have started a new site devoted to the everyday guitarist. Hobbyist and Pro. I will be telling and showing tricks of the trade.
Be Ready For Information On Guitars.

My gigging (playing out live) rig has changed and enlarged itself for the better. I also have a better digital camera to show off my collection. I have started giving guitar lessons again. I can teach you fun-easy to learn--inexpensive way. Guitar is supposed to be fun not another job. If interested leave a message here on the guest book. I have the guest book turned off. E-mail me at Classguitar1@aol.com. You can also contact me on the contacts page at www.CrazyAboutGuitars.webs.com
I have had many guitarists ask me what my set up is when they see it. Here is what I have and how I use it.
AMPS
I have been playing out a lot this past year. I have run into a lot of guitarists that are curious about what I use live. The gigging rig I use has a different use than most guitarists use. I use a Marshall JCM 2000 100 watt head and a Marshall Vintage cab with four Celestion 30 watt green back speakers for the low end. A Marshall MG100HDFX head and Peavey 4-12 cab with Sheffield speakers. This I use for the mids. I always have this amp with the chorus on 100 per cent. I am totally impressed with the Marshall MG. This amp sounds amazingly close to the all tube JCM 2000. Next my favorite my Fender Evil Twin 100/25 watt. 2 Eminence 12" speakers. This amp "sparkles" with personality. Some times when I am playing the amp jumps out with personality that should only come out of a boutique amp. This set up is not loud. It can be. But it has more head room than any set up I have used. Cool looking on stage. I get a lot of comments from other guitarists. Quite the curiosity. I really believe in (at the least) a duel amp set up. I was surprised when I read an article recently that Joe Perry of Aerosmith is using close to the same set up for his solo gigging. A little different but the same idea where some amps are used for different tones--High, mids and lows. Each of us to our own taste and what we can afford. I believe I read that article in Guitar Player Magazine April 2010. Good article.
GUITARS
When playing out I always have my Black Les Paul Standard. I usually "Trick Out" {Registered} my guitars. This guitar I set up just for action and I used what is called The Kalamazoo Setting on the humbuckers. This setting on a humbucker really brings life to any guitar with humbuckers. All most shocking how much it helps. The humbuckers are Gibson 490R 498T. These cover 99% of all the tone I need being in a cover dance band. A completely black standard {I think} is a better sounding guitar. Do to the fact that that Gibson Luthiers are not worried about a see through finish. Just how it sounds. Also I bring along a back up Les Paul's. Usually my Les Paul Classic Sun Burst which I "Tricked Out" with S. Duncan JB in the neck and a S. Duncan "59" in the bridge. This is a stunningly HOT guitar. But to do all the different songs my band does it barley covers the territory. Nice back up guitar though. You need an almost hot guitar to cover so many different types of music. Next is my 1972 Fender Telecaster Deluxe which I had the picks ups replaced back then. It has a Gibson Velvet Brick in the neck and a Gibson Dirty Fingers pick up in the bridge which I can switch to a single coil with a tone nob pull tab. Puts out the tone of a Les Paul--a Strat and with the tone pull it puts out the best Telecaster sound I have heard. I used to use my Fender Telecaster American Deluxe for country dance songs. This guitar blows it away. I still use American Deluxe Tele. Depends on my mood. Strings--Gibson Vintage 9's
EFFECTS
For Live application I use (in line Guitar to} a Boss TU-2 Tuner--Cry Baby Wah {which I am totally unhappy with} I ended up with a standard everyday VOX Wah pedal and it works great. I have been through five gigs with it and it worked great every time. Then a Boss GT-6 I have also been trying a BBE 264 sonic expander unit. It adds something that I cannot explain--but "WOW" is all I can say for right now.
There you have it.
Trouble Train (Our Caboose Is Loose !!! 2010- Tour) "is" roaring down the tracks

The Studio/Partial Collection and pics of gigs. Also there are pictures of models holding rare/boutique/expensive and hard to find guitars. I collect them. Guitars!
So don't be offended.
Also any women that think they might be able to model like the women on here only with my guitar collection--contact me. My E-mail Classguitar1@aol.com
I would like to show my guitar collection off on the internet in the hands of a classy model. If you think you might be able to do contact me. All of my web sites are viewed all over the world. It would be great to show the world what Colorado women look like. My www.CrazyAboutGuitars.webs.com site gets upwards of five thousand hits a month. Great way for a model to get her pictures out there and great pictures for a promo pac.
I will be updating pics of my collection and a newer studio. Very soon to boot. So that would work well in timing.
As for me -- I will have more pics shortly in 2010. I am afraid I don't have the paparazzi following me around. However I can pretty much promise you I look the same as these photo's.
